About Us
Founder and President, Lawrence Nicholson, built a successful sales career starting over 30 years ago working for a $200,000,000 food retail equipment manufacturing company and became one of their top Sales Managers in the Nation. With his passion for sales and the food retail/services industries, it was the only next logical step to follow in his father’s footsteps and start his own company. Thus, on July 1st, 2003 MPM Food Equipment Group was established.
Lawrence started out as the sole employee running MPM out of his basement. Sales very quickly climbed, so much so, that by 2005 he moved into his first office building in Glenview, IL with a full-time staff. In 2012 the Connecticut office opened and from 2012-2014 sales more than doubled bringing MPM to a $19 million company.
Backed by a talented team, and their group ability to assist and collaborate with customers on producing innovative ideas and an expertise in finding the perfect products to reach their goals, MPM works with each client every step of the way.
